Student concert of music by migrant composers
Ljubljana, 9 May 2015
The Slovenian partner group of the HERA MusMig project has animated professors and students of the Department of Musicology to prepare a concert of music by migrant composers from the 17th to early 19th century who were in various ways connected with the territory of the present-day Slovenia:
Gabriello Puliti (c. 1580–1644), Jakob Frančišek Zupan (1734–1810), Jakob František Benedikt Dusík (1765–after Nov. 1817) and Franz Kubik (?–1848).
The concert was organised through the HERA MusMig associated partner the Slovenian Musicological Society. The student group MusicaLogica was conducted by Prof Matjaž Barbo and the concert took place in the beautiful Baroque Franciscan Church in the heart of Ljubljana.
