EXHIBITION: Travelling organ builders and the interweaving of their paths in Carniola: The tradition of organ workshop of Marcus Göbl

Katarina Trček, one of the members of the Slovenian partner group of the HERA MusMig project is organizing an exhibition on travelling organ builders in Carniola in the 18th century, focused on Marcus Göbl, Johann Georg Eisl, and Johann Alois Kutschera. These organ builders have created the longest tradition of the organ building in Carniola.

The exhibition will be opened on 1 October 2015 with an organ concert, performed on a historical portative, built by Marcus Göbl. On the programme will be keyboard compositions preserved in various archives and libraries in Slovenia.

The exhibition will be opened until 16 October 2015.
